Artemis Village helps me to connect more deeply to my daughter on all levels.  It also over the past three years has helped my daughter truly embody her growing self and start her maturation pathway as a young woman with grace, balance and power.  We are so grateful.

Our Beautiful Location!

We are blessed to have a new site in the beautiful Santa Cruz Mountains this year. We are across the creek from where we hosted Artemis for our first two years – at Girl Scout camp Camp Hidden Falls… here’s a sneak peak:

“Hidden falls,” and the deep pools along Glenwood Basin creek await our swims and wanders on hot summer days

Fire circles await our camp songs!

Dining hall awaits our delicious organic food and good conversations

Bunks await us moving in with our pods for each age group!

Accommodations

There is potable water throughout the camp and in our kitchen. All meals will be provided with organic ingredients and local when possible. Diet accommodates omnivores, vegetarians, and those with allergies of any kind (which you will indicate on registration form). Pit toilets and flushing toilets are available as well as hot showers. Pods will be in open air cabins or tents. For weekend – Caregivers will have options to sleep inside or outside in tents.

Guides

Check out our amazing Guide Team, many of whom will be a part of Artemis Village!

TEEN & APPRENTICE GUIDES:

Share and grow your leadership through serving the village as a teen guide or apprentice. Teens and apprentices will arrive and receive training before camp starts and be assigned to a pod to support during camp. Stipend included.

Mother or Womxn Caregiver’s Attendance

  • We highly recommend that mother or womxn identified caregiver join us from Thursday evening through Saturday afternoon.
  • If there is an extenuating circumstance that prevents you from coming for Thursday evening through Saturday, then we ask mother or a caregiver to be there on Saturday from 10am-2pm.
  • If caregiver has a younger sibling (any gender) who is nursing or under 2, caregiver is welcome to bring along

Your support will plant seeds that will bloom far into the future…
