Jenae McDonald

Jenae grew up in Payahuunadu, the land of flowing waters, homelands of Nuumu and Newe people on the eastern side of the Sierra Nevada mountains. Many of their most treasured memories come from a childhood spent playing in creeks, climbing rocks, and looking for lizards. Jenae has spent many years working with youth outdoors as an instructor, trip leader, environmental educator, and forest school teacher.  Their goal in working with youth is facilitating amazement, care for the more-than-human world, and a felt sense of place. They love to explore somatics, herbalism, and deep ecology.
